Bog Slog Registration is Open!

CYA Wraps up its series with Bog Slog at Lord Hill Park on Dec 31st!

The Bog Slog, now in its 43rd year, is the extra tough and extra muddy halftime race to the Winter League, and a fantastic opportunity for students who have graduated from WIOL to return for a holiday reunion with friends!

The Bog Slog concludes the Choose Your Adventure Series, which means that we are offering two mass-start, point-to-point courses (The Bog Slog & The Bog Jog) for the advanced navigators, as well as a Choose Your Adventure style race for beginners, intermediates, and trail runners!  This event is pre-registration only.

Mergeo’s Street Scramble at the Market – Dec 10

Looking for a family fun activity between COC Winter League meets? Check out Mergeo’s:

Street Scramble at the Market

Saturday, December 10, 2022 – 9:30am

Street Scramble at the Market is 2 hours and on-foot only (no 3-hour or bike option), so the course is especially compact. Expect to be able to visit a bunch of checkpoints in a relatively short distance! Also, in the spirit of giving, half of the proceeds go to The Pike Place Market Foundation, which provides vital services to elderly and low-income residents of downtown and welcomes us back each year to Pike Place Market.

TODAY’S MEET IS CANCELLED!

  • TODAYS MEET IS CANCELLED DUE TO NO POWER AT SSC.  SSC PULLED OUR PERMIT AT 7 AM THIS MORNING DUE TO THEIR POLICY OF NO EVENTS ON CAMPUS WHEN THERE IS A POWER OUTAGE.
  • PUBLIC RUNNERS AND WIOL MEET-TO-MEET RUNNERS WILL BE REFUNDED THROUGH OUR SYSTEM FOR THIS RACE.
  • WE WILL DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO RESCHEDULE THIS EVENT IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Many apologies!

C0C Winter League Director

Join hosts Will Enger & Patrick Nuss at 8pm on the Sundays following Winter League orienteering events. Together, we’ll talk about the race courses and interesting route choices. What worked well? What didn’t? How can we learn and improve for next time? Bring your questions, tell us about your races, and hopefully you’ll learn a few tricks to become better orienteers!
