Bog Slog redo is this Sunday, February 13th. Head on out to Lord Hill Regional Park- South entrance for the last meet of the Choose Your Adventure Series. We are offering two mass-start, point-to-point courses (The Bog Slog & The Bog Jog) for the advanced navigators, as well as a Choose Your Adventure style race for beginners, intermediates, and trail runners!
Registration closes Friday 2/11 at 12pm- get signed up here.
As always, The Bog Slog advanced courses are longer and more challenging than our usual Winter League courses. Some participants drop down a level for ease, while others treat this as the ultimate challenge, often sharing the navigation fun and bragging rights for completion.

Registration and volunteer sign-up are now open for Fort Ebey and Fort Casey!
WL Championships will be a two-day event this year.
- Saturday (2/19) is a classic middle distance championship race at Fort Ebey State Park
& Kettles Trail Area. It is also an opportunity to earn National Ranking points.
- Sunday (2/20) is a Sprint/Middle championship race at Fort Casey State Park.
- This year, championships awards are based on your TWO DAY score. That means if
you want to qualify for Winter League Championship awards, you must do the same
course both days and you must run either Short Advanced or Long Advanced.
- New this year: we’ll have awards for men and women on Short Advanced!

As of 8pm on 12/30, The Bog Slog on January 2nd has been POSTPONED to a later date TBA.
With six more inches of snow falling yesterday and today (and potentially more to follow), and temperatures well below freezing until late Saturday, we’re just not convinced that the conditions will allow for safe travel to the event and safe orienteering in the woods on Sunday morning. (Not to mention safe access for the course setters on Saturday!)
The organizers are working on determining a new date with park staff, and we’ll let you know about a date change as soon as possible.
If you registered for the event and cannot attend the new date, you will receive a refund.
