Come join us for the next event in the Ultimate Orienteer Series. In a freestyle event, you have to punch all controls on your course but you decide in which order you want to visit them. Similar to a score-O, but different in that there are no points and no time limit (until course closure). More info on the event page. Last month Orienteering USA announced the 2026 OUSA National Team. Eight COC members were among them! Congratulations to Jessica Colleran, Mathew Rogers, and Ben Conley for being named to the Performance Team. Congrats to Ben Cooper, Jackson Rupe, Danny Buchholz, Sophie Howes, and Greta Leonard for making it on the Junior Team. Cascade OC is so proud! You can read more here.

It is time for the 2026 Ultimate Orienteer Season to begin and as tradition holds, we start with Night-O. This year we will be at Lynnwood Golf Course on March 7. More info on the event page. Join us for the seventh and final regular season event of the Winter League series that will take place at Green River College in Auburn on February 7th (but wait, then there is the Championship and Celebration Relay, so WL isn’t over quite yet). The next COC event is an evening training event on a new map at Lake Wilderness Golf Course in Maple Valley.
