Join your fellow COC community members at SPU this Wednesday, August 11th for the 3rd Wednesday Evening Series. Our most casual series allows for arrival to start anytime between 5 and 7pm with course closure at 8pm. We will be offering the usual post-race fare, with the familiar precautions – please practice social distancing, avoid congregating in large groups, and wear a mask when around others. Congratulations to Jessica Colleran and Ben Brady on being named to the US Junior World Orienteering Team! They head to Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey, 49 kilometers from İstanbul, to compete amongst the best juniors in the world September 4-10. The two long time WIOL participants and COC members both swept their respective divisions with straight 100’s this past mini-Winter League season. More orienteering fun awaits you this weekend. Take a short trip across the mountains to Teanaway Forks for an Ultra Long race and then to Jack Creek for a Middle race this Saturday and Sunday, June 12-13. Coming up this weekend: Northwest Nav Races is pleased to be hosting a 24-hour navigation race in the fantastic channeled scablands terrain of eastern Washington State!
