2026 Winter League: South Training at Green River College (pending permits)

DESCRIPTION

We are excited to offer two FREE pre-season WL trainings – one in the North and one in the South.

    • South Training will be on Sunday, Oct 17th at Green River College (pending permits) and North Training will be held at Lynndale Park on Saturday, Oct. 10th.
    • Each training will have two sessions: morning (9 am-11:30 am) and afternoon (Noon-2:30 pm) (Choose one)
    • Each training will have three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced training
    • Registration for the free trainings is first come first serve and sessions will close on the Wednesday prior to the event or when they have reached capacity

 

  • To register for either of these trainings please email Kathy Forgrave at her new email wiol.registrar@cascadeoc.org with the following info:
    • The first and last names of attendee(s)
    • If they are a student:
      • The school they currently attend
      • The grade they are currently in school
    • The date they want to attend
    • The session they want to attend (AM or PM)
    • Type of training they want (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced)

PRICES

  • This event is free, but pre-registration is required.

 9:15 – 10:25 am Beginners Session 1, 2 & 3
 9:15 – 10:25 am Intermediate Training
9:15 – 11:30 am Advanced Training
10:30 am Ethics Rotation for Beginners and Intermediate Trainings
10:40 am Compass Training and Course Introduction For Beginner Training Only
10:40 am Intermediate Course heads out for full course training with review following
11:00 am Beginner Training heads out for short course with review following
11:30 am Training ends/Trainees Picked Up
11:30 am Trainers only lunch
11:45 am Afternoon Trainees arrive
Noon Introduction by WIOL Director
12:10 – 1:20 pm Beginners Session 1, 2 and 3
1:20 – 1:30 pm Ethics Talk
1:30 pm Intermediate Course heads out for full course training with review following
