The New England Orienteering Club (NEOC), Cambridge Sports Union (CSU), and Navigation Games (NG) invite you to compete October 11-13, 2025 at the US Orienteering Championships (Middle/Long/Sprint) on new or fully updated maps of Rocky Woods, Powisset Peak, and Georges Island.

Venue Locations

The competition will be held at:

  • Day 1 (Saturday, 10/11/25): Rocky Woods Reservation, Medfield, MA
  • Day 2 (Sunday, 10/12/25): Powisset Peak, consisting primarily of the Noanet Woodlands Reservation and Hale Education lands, with event headquarters at Camp Grossman, Dover, MA (Note of caution: Camp Grossman also has a business address, which may be the first that appears in a search. Be sure you have the Dover address, not Newton.)
  • Day 3 (Monday, 10/13/25): Georges Island, accessed by ferry from Long Wharf in Boston.

Fees & Registration

Competitors must pre-register via EventReg [link coming, early June]. Day-of-event registration for recreational courses (only) will also be online—data entry on your smartphone, online payment, online waiver, etc.

Notes:

  • Add $4/day if not an OUSA (or other national federation) member. This is a standard OUSA non-member tax passed through to competitors. (This fee does not apply to Recreational entrants.)
  • 2025 National Team (foot-O) members qualify for Junior pricing.
  • E-punch rental ($5/day)—O-vendor(s) on site Sat. & Sun. to purchase your own.

Any violations of the embargo (deliberate or inadvertent) should be brought to the Race or Event Director’s attention for adjudication.

Awards

US citizens and US permanent lawful residents who are OUSA members in all age groups are eligible for US Championship medals.  Pre-registration is also required.  Separate medals will be awarded for each format (Middle, Long and Sprint). Awards for the top 3 finishers in each category will also be given (including non-championship eligible runners).
