This is the final of six events in the 2012 Choose Your Adventure Series! 

 

Location:

Lynndale Park, Lynnwood.

 

Format:

A one-size-fits-all race for beginners through advanced runners. We’ll have a mass start for everyone except the vampires, who will start a few minutes later. Your goal is to find as many checkpoints as you can within 60 minutes, without getting bitten by a vampire! If you get bitten, you'll swap roles (and punchcards) until you bite a new victim! It's ghoulishly fun! 

 

Pre-registration is highly encouraged, as this guarantees you a printed map at the start. There will be day-of-event registration available on-site, but entries will be limited to the amount of extra maps we have printed!

 

Schedule:

5:30pm - Registration & Instruction Opens

6:45pm - Registration & Instruction Closes

7:00pm - Mass Start!

8:00pm - Finish!

Standard event information

Pre-registration Fees: following are the standard fees for events when you pre-register online, unless otherwise noted in the event information.

$11   Standard fee
$8   Discounted fee (under 18, or club member)
$2   Additional fee for electronic punch use

Day-of-event registration fees: Add $2.00 to the Standard and Discounted fees (e-punch use fee remains the same).

Whistle: All participants must carry a whistle while on a course at a COC event.

Course Closure: For events with the normal 10am-noon registration time, course markers are normally picked up beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Beginner Courses: All local COC meets offer a course for beginners or newcomers unless otherwise noted.
